BVI Company ES Filing Reminder
The BVI Economic Substance (ES) filing is about to begin. All relevant entities must submit their ES report within six months after the end of their financial year to avoid penalties or legal consequences.
Please note that the BVI Business Companies (Amendment) Act 2024 is already in effect. Under this amendment, companies are required to file their Register of Members, Register of Directors, and Register of Beneficial Ownership. Failure to comply may result in penalties and the inability to obtain a Certificate of Good Standing or a Certificate of Incumbency.
