Starting from December 27, 2023, Hong Kong's Registry will implement the " Unique Business Identifier." This change will replace the Company Number on the company's certificate with the Business Registration Number. Going forward, all forms and documents sent to the Companies Registry or government departments will use the business registration number as the " Unique Business Identifier " for Hong Kong companies.

In case you need official documentation about the change to the Unique Business Identifier, you can apply after December 27.
